Howard Podeswa is a Toronto-based artist who has exhibited internationally over the past 24 years, in public and private galleries including the Association for Visual Arts (Capetown), ARC (Chicago), Waddington-Gorce (Montreal), UBC, Peak Gallery,The Red Head and Mira Godard Gallery. His paintings can be found in private and public collections, including the Donovan Collection, Agnes Etherington, and Ciba-Geigi. His most recent series, Duncan, was the subject of a profile by John Bentley Mays in International Architecture and Design (Fall, 2010) and his prior work has been reviewed extensively in the media. Currently, Podeswa is working with curator Eric Woodley on an exhibition based on a recent visit to his father's birthplace in Poland, to be shown alongside pre- and post-war paintings by his father and grandfather. Also in the works is a 2013 public exhibition of paintings derived from the Masters.
